The rugged Pacific Coast and the majestic redwoods that stretch between Arcata, CA, and Crescent City are among the most photogenic areas in California. In this workshop, you'll explore picturesque sites featuring the Klamath River, Pacific Ocean, and multiple Redwoods State and National Parks. Plus, we'll visit local towns and rustic diners.

You can fly in from any part of the country to the nearby Arcata–Eureka Airport, just a short drive to our workshop headquarters. Four days of photography in a variety of settings. Space is limited to 7 participants.

Tuition

The workshop tuition is $1,395, which includes personalized instruction, on location guidance, workshop headquarters, classroom sessions, lunches, final presentations, and access to derrickstoryonline where we will begin preparing for our adventure in May and use throughout and after the physical event has concluded.

How to Reserve Your Spot

A deposit of $250 reserves your space. Per the workshop cancelation policy, deposits are non-refundable. You will be invoiced for the remaining balance prior to the workshop.

What Happens After the Paid Deposit?

We’ll follow up with you confirming your payment and will begin the planning process.

Cancelation Policy

The workshop deposit is non-refundable. Cancellation up to 60 days before the event will provide you with a $650 refund for fully-paid tuitions. There is no refund for cancellations within 59 days of the event.
