Join pro photographer Derrick Story for a virtual exploration of California's stunning Eastern Sierra landscape. We will be based in Bridgeport, CA, which is the perfect location to explore potential sites such as: June Lake, Bodie Ghost Town, Mono Lake, Twin Lakes, Mammoth Lakes, Convict Lake, and more. (Actual locations based on weather, fall color, and other factors.)

The workshop will combine classroom, lab, and lots of stunning field work. We’ll begin our preparations before we meet via check-ins on DerrickStoryOnline. Once we congregate in Bridgeport, our days will be filled with exploration, learning, relaxing, eating, and sharing.

The Eastern Sierra has been our most popular in-person workshop over the years, and this one should continue that tradition.

Tuition

The workshop tuition is $1,395, which includes personalized instruction, on location guidance, workshop headquarters, classroom sessions, lunches, final presentations, and access to derrickstoryonline where we will begin preparing for our adventure in August and use throughout and after the physical event has concluded.

How to Reserve Your Spot

A deposit of $250 reserves your space. Per the workshop cancelation policy, deposits are non-refundable. You will be invoiced for the remaining balance prior to the workshop.

What Happens After the Paid Deposit?

We’ll follow up with you confirming your payment and will begin the planning process.

Cancelation Policy

The workshop deposit is non-refundable. Cancellation up to 60 days before the event will provide you with a $650 refund for fully-paid tuitions. There is no refund for cancellations within 59 days of the event.
